Relive everyday mountain life, from the days when cream was beaten by hand. Discover the sunken secrets of Lac de Vallon or the birth of ski resorts. Enter the Maison de la Belle Vallée...
Located next to the Bellevaux Tourist Office, the Maison de la Belle Vallée is home to a wealth of antique objects that bear witness to everyday life in the mountains of yesteryear. From the birth of ski resorts to traditional cheese-making and our Mammoth defense, the museum immerses visitors in a wealth of objects from another era. It's in this universe that children will be able to solve the mystery of the Lac de Vallon: an investigation bringing to light a strange object, narrowly saved from the waters of the lake...
The animated visit is divided into two parts: in small groups, children collect the letters needed to reconstruct the name of the mystery object, followed by a class presentation of the story of the birth of Lac de Vallon.
The museum also has a gift store for souvenirs!
