The Musée de la Musique Mécanique welcomes groups of children aged 4 to 17 for school trips, summer camps or day outings. Discover the history of mechanical music from the 14th century to the present day!
Whether you're a class or a group of children, discover mechanical musical instruments.
Completely revamped in 2017, the museum invites children to discover over 800 pieces presented in the context of their era, during the main periods of history (from the 14th to the 20th century).
Through the museum's various rooms, children will observe highly complex mechanical systems dating back several decades. They'll be able to compare the ways in which music and media were read from one era to the next. MP3 didn't always exist!
For teachers, we've prepared an educational sheet for Cycle 3.
