Following the annexation of Nice and Savoie to France, Napoleon III commissioned a book of lithographs presenting the newly French departments. Today, photographer François Deladerrière invites us to take a trip back in time with a series of photographs featuring views from this 19th-century compendium. The result is a fine appreciation of their evolution.
