Come and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of watchmaking, where every part, every gear, every cog plays a crucial role in the incessant dance of the hands of time.
Our watchmaker's workshop opens its doors to you, ready to take you on a journey to the heart of time measurement. Be punctual, because the adventure begins on time!
On the program:
- A captivating two-hour visit
- An interactive introduction, with students exploring the mysteries of watchmaking
- A challenge to become real clockmakers: children will have to identify four time-measuring instruments based on a definition (the sundial, the mechanical watch, a steeple clock movement and a pendulum).
- Exploration of hidden treasures in two rooms of the museum: the first dedicated to the evolution of time measurement, and the second to mechanical clocks.
- Build an educational clock to better understand how it works.
- For Cycle 2 students, the workshop culminates in a captivating tale featuring the vocabulary and mechanism of mechanical clocks.
